We can all be thankful for the local heros that have been out brushing the trails. Two went out yesterday to check the trail to Whitney. It took them 5 1/2 hours and three chainsaws just to get there. A group of 5 headed out today to Madawaska. Most of these guys still work and took a couple of days off to do this so if anyone has any complaints about trees on the trail and how much they spent on a permit, blah, blah, blah I'll send one of them over to you for some clarification!!
The groomers headed out again this morning, one to Bancroft the other North but I'm not sure where. I just saw the fresh trail on my way in this morning.
We've had a little snow each day. Not much but enough to make a difference. It is quite cold and really sunny. A perfect day for riding. With more snow expected Thursday and on the weekend it should be a good weekend.
I'll post again by Friday for a weekend update.
